“ New favorite restaurant in Bend! Although pricey (think special occasions) and not nearly enough parking (be a gentleman and drop the ladies off at the door; you’ll have to hike for a spot- ugh). The food...magnific who knew the combinations could taste good together! We went for Valentines Day Dinner and their fixed multi course menu was delicious. Can’t wait for another special occasion. I can’t imagine you’ll be disappointed. ”
“ I was reluctant to try Hawkeye because it seemed like the newest "Hot Spot" The menu selections were good and tasty and reasonable prices. Service was fine, nothing to complain nor boast about. We will return occasionally ”
“ We went here to celebrate an anniversary. We were able to snag a reservation about 5 days out. We were seated quickly and our server was great. The service was quick! All of the food we had was amazing! The cornbread was to die for, as well as the filet mignon and chicken. We had lava cake for dessert and left very full and satisfied. The decor and vibes were awesome. We had a ton of fun! ”
“ We went with our daughter to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary. We had reservations and were seated quickly. Our server was amazing and drinks came out fast. Our meal took about 30 min but considering how busy they were it was to be expected. My husband and I enjoyed complimentary glasses of champagne to toast our anniversary. Our daughter had the watermelon lemonade and it was so very good. I ordered the Santa Maria Skirt Steak and it was cooked to perfection. Absolutely delicious!! My husband ordered the NY Strip and it was also cooked beautifully. We had the butter potatoes and the charred carrots as our sides. Both sides were a perfect match to our steaks with the carrots being especially flavorable and pleasing. We finished with dessert of the Bourbon Date Cake and again, it was absolutely fabulous. Everything about our meal and dining experience was outstanding, including the opportunity to chat with Brian Malarkey himself. I would HIGHLY recommend Hawkeye and Huckleberry Lounge to anyone. Just keep in mind that it is very popular and waiting a little bit for drinks and food are to be expected. If you don't like waiting then I would recommend coming in after 8 pm to avoid the crowds. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the food is phenomenal. Bravo! ”
“ We had a great time! Our server was friendly and descriptive. We took many of his suggestions and had a wonderful meal! The cocktails were amazing! We had the Oregon shrimp cocktail toast, the Porterhouse with horseradish cream and house steak sauce, and the crispy baked potato. Everything was well cooked and the timing was excellent. We took dessert to go. Really fun visit! ”
“ Couldn’t have loved this place more! From the atmosphere to the servers to the food this place is was amazing. The fillet was perfectly cooked to preferred medium, and the ribeye with horseradish cream melted in your mouth. I’ve never had a steak taste this good! The buttery potatoes were what dreams are made of and the asparagus was a nice cold app for the warm summer evening. Malarkey has created a menu full of flavorful foods that leave your tastebuds dancing and craving more and an atmosphere that’s comfortable, casual, and easy to enjoy. We will definitely be back! ”
“ Went to Hawkeye and Huckleberry for dinner last night for a special occasion. Great atmosphere! Great music! Had the beef rib and mash. So tender I cut it with a fork. The loaded potato was crispy from the cast iron skillet! I had a refreshing N/A spritzer. My only regret was not having room to try dessert. Our servers were friendly and knowledgeable. ”
“ I had an amazing meal and great drinks. The service was very attentive. Seems like the have more than enough staff on hand and they all help each mother out. Our food came out super quick. I had the Santa Fe Skirt Steak and it was so flavorful. The cornbread was awesome. The mashed potatoes were nice and creamy and the salmon was big and delicious. The only drawback is that the music is loud but everything else was so good I won’t dock them for that. ”
